The Annie Mae King Scholarship Fund
In Honor of Annie Mae King
You are cordially invited to join in honoring Mrs. Annie Mae King for her forty (40) years of dedicated service in the field of education.  Hopewell M.B. Church and Mrs. King’s family, wish to honor her years of service as she celebrates her ninety-forth (94) birthday.  This Scholarship will be for youth who wish to continue their education after high school.  Churches, family, and all former students, are asked to help begin this Scholarship Fund by making a donation in honor of her unwavering and unselfish services to the many students of Lee County.   In the past 40 years, Mrs. King taught at Hopewell, Livingston, Belden Consolidated, North Belden, and Lift’s Head Start.  She is still a valued member of the Belden community where she has lived for over sixty (60) years.

Please join Pastor Curtis McKinney and all of Mrs. King’s appreciative former students, friends, and family at Hopewell M. B. Church for this celebration on May 18, 2008 at 3:00 P.M.  Guest speaker will be a former student of Mrs. King, Bishop Clarence Parks of TCD.  Hopewell M. B. Church is located at 4809 Coleman Circle in Belden.
